At Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, the country's top-ranked university, you'll take courses alongside Peruvian and international students in fields like archaeology, communication, environmental science, and the social sciences. Most courses are taught in Spanish and designed for students with intermediate to advanced proficiency, though a limited number of English-taught options are also available.

Founded in 1917, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) is the oldest private university in Peru and consistently ranked as the top university in the country. Its enclosed, green campus in Lima’s San Miguel district offers a quiet, self-contained environment while still providing easy access to the city center and the coast. With all academic departments, libraries, museums, and student services located on one vibrant campus, PUCP combines academic excellence with an immersive cultural experience.
Students with advanced Spanish skills can take courses in archaeology, art, communication, environmental science, geography, history, linguistics, literature, philosophy, and more—all taught alongside local, Peruvian students.
For students seeking English-taught coursework, PUCP offers select courses in engineering, business, and social sciences.

Home Away from Home
After you've applied, you'll complete a housing questionnaire that will help us match your preferences with the available options. Housing assignments are on a first-come, first-served basis, so complete this form as soon as you're able! We strive to match your housing preferences as best we can, but requests cannot be guaranteed.
The options listed below are based on double-occupancy with another international student, unless otherwise noted. Single rooms may be available upon request for an additional fee. Meals and laundry service are not included unless otherwise specified. All utilities and internet are included, though you may be charged an additional fee should your consumption exceed the allotted monthly amount. A refundable security deposit may be required for some options.
