College students want to hear from you! When you join our Global Ambassador Program, a paid professional development opportunity, you get to share your study abroad experience with other students at your university.
You’ll share your firsthand knowledge across campus activities, connect with students in person and online, participate in study abroad fairs, write blogs, create social content, and more. Plus, you’ll get to ideate with global ambassadors across the country.
We’ll provide planning tips so you can spend less time on logistics and more time building meaningful connections. This is an excellent way to add more work experience to your resume and expand your professional network.

Global ambassadors complete a brief training program, fulfill at least five hours of work per semester, and collaborate with fellow ambassadors and staff at the university’s study abroad office.
In a typical semester, you could:
- Host information tables and study abroad fairs
- Present to student organizations and classes
- Promote events via flyers, posters, and chalking
- Share your story through blogs, photos, and social media
- Connect one-on-one with interested students
- Advise other peers and the study abroad office
- Post reviews about your experience
- Participate in virtual WorldStrides events
