What are micro-credentials?
Study abroad micro-credentials are digital badges that verify the specific skills you build while living and learning internationally. Each badge is backed by real activities and reflection, so it shows employers and schools what you can do, not just where you've been.
Our two micro-credentials focus on cultural adaptability, sustainability, career readiness, and self-development, and Global Professional is aligned with the NACE Career Readiness Competencies. Once you earn a badge, you can share it on LinkedIn, add it to your resume, and include it in job and grad school applications, turning your time abroad into career currency.

Global Professional

How to earn digital badges
Before your program, you'll get access to WorldStrides Connections, our student app. It's where you'll RSVP for events, connect with on-site staff and fellow participants, and earn points toward your badges through quizzes, discussions, challenges, and reflections. Here's how each micro-credential works.
