Site Visits

By participating in one of our scheduled Group Site Visits, whether virtual or in-person, or scheduling your own Individual Site Visit to coincide with personal travel plans to a WorldStrides host country, you will gain familiarity with our program features including academics, housing, health & safety and co-curricular learning while meeting members of our exceptional on-site student support teams abroad. We welcome the opportunity to host you at our program sites and would be delighted to share our passion for international education with you and your colleagues.  

Group Site Visit: Athens, Rome, Florence, and Milan 
Dates: November 8-17, 2025

Proposed Itinerary:

• Athens: November 9-10
• Rome: November 11-12
• Florence: November 13-14
• Milan: November 14-16

Our Group Site Visit Itinerary typically includes visits to 2-3 WorldStrides program sites, and consists of both academic and cultural activities. Group Site Visit participants will tour our host institutions, observe host university classes, and meet with international office administrators and faculty when possible.

In addition to host university visits, Group Site Visit participants will visit the WorldStrides office at each site and meet WorldStrides staff responsible for supporting students during their study abroad program. Visitors will also be able to spend time with WorldStrides students currently abroad, allowing visitors the opportunity to speak openly with students about their experience with WorldStrides.

Participation fee: $750 per participant

Individual Site Visits

WorldStrides offers Individual Site Visits at all of our program locations, allowing study abroad advisors and faculty to gain first-hand knowledge of our program offerings, host university curriculum, and WorldStrides on-site support. The itinerary for an individual site visit is tailored to best meet the specific needs and objectives of the visitor. A typical individual site visit itinerary can include a meeting with our on-site staff to review WorldStrides’ programs, along with visits to the host university and WorldStrides student housing. Individual site visits can be planned as half or full day visits, depending on the visitor’s availability.

If you or a colleague are planning to travel to a city where a WorldStrides program is located and are interested in an individual site visit, please complete our interest form at least 45 days prior to your travel. Please note that individual site visit costs are not subsidized by WorldStrides and are subject to availability of on-site staff. Have questions about a potential visit?
