For Advisors & Partners

  • How does WorldStrides partner with universities, and what support do they provide?

WorldStrides works with university study abroad offices as a trusted program provider and institutional partner. For partner universities, WorldStrides assigns a dedicated campus partnership representative who supports advisors with program advising, student recruitment materials, enrollment tracking, and logistical coordination. WorldStrides' program portfolio is designed to complement a university's existing curriculum, and the team works closely with advisors to ensure programs align with institutional learning goals and credit policies. Partner institutions also gain access to WorldStrides' advising resources portal, co-branded marketing materials, assessment data, and professional development opportunities including webinars, conferences, and community events. • What are the application deadlines for WorldStrides programs?

Application deadlines vary by program and are listed on each individual program page. WorldStrides accepts applications on a rolling basis, so earlier applications are more likely to secure a spot, and programs typically open for applications about a year before the term starts. Students who miss a deadline should contact WorldStrides directly, since exceptions are sometimes possible depending on program flexibility.

  • How does WorldStrides handle credit transfer and transcripts for partner institutions?

WorldStrides provides official transcripts for all program participants, issued by the host institution or directly by WorldStrides depending on the program structure. Transcripts are typically delivered within 6–8 weeks of program completion and can be sent directly to the student's home institution registrar. For partner universities, WorldStrides works in advance to establish course equivalencies and pre-approval frameworks, reducing the administrative burden on advisors and registrars. Faculty-led and custom program participants may follow a different credit-processing path determined during the program design phase. You can find helpful information about the transcript process and resources for transcript request and status updates here.
