From the romantic cafés surrounding the Arc de Triomphe and the sweeping Champs-Élysées to the majestic Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides, join a local guide for a view of the City of Lights. Tour Notre Dame Cathedral, home of the fictional hunchback and dozens of menacing gargoyles.

Take your time exploring the Louvre Museum.
Day 4 :
Versailles
Discover the Palace of Versailles
Travel to Louis XIV's decadent Palace of Versailles. Tour the immense hall of mirrors, the royal apartments and the gardens.

Board a riverboat for a cruise through the City of Lights.
Travel to the top of the Eiffel Tower
Add a trip up the Eiffel Tower.

This costume workshop is a lively role-play activity that puts you in the shoes of the monarchy, clergy, nobility, bourgeoisie, or peasantry to explore the issues underlying the French Revolution.
Day 5 :
Giverny
Add on: Monet's home in Giverny
Opt to visit the beautiful home of Impressionist Claude Monet at Giverny (before April 1 a visit to Van Gogh's last home at Auvers-sur-Oise will be substituted).
Take a walking tour of Montmartre
n the evening, enjoy a walking tour of Montmartre with your Tour Director.

Day 6 :
Chartres-Loire Château
Discover the Loire Valley
This full-day excursion to the Loire Valley offers an overview of French history from medieval times to the Renaissance. Stop in Chartres Cathedral to see its lofty stained glass windows. Compare the differing styles of two châteaux - the grace of Chenonceau and the extravagance of the château in Amboise.

Day 7 :
Marais
Explore Marais
Explore the fascinating Marais quarter on a walking tour. Originally named for its swampy location, this area is full of artists' studios and small restaurants and boasts the beautiful Place des Vosges.
Visit the Musée d'Orsay
Spend the afternoon exploring Musée d’Orsay on the bank of the Seine River. The museum is famous for its collection of impressionist artworks by painters like Renoir and Monet. It also houses photography, sculptures, and furniture dating from 1848-1915.
Theatre Performance en francais optional
Step foot into a magnificent Parisian theatre and join locals for a spectacular French play or musical and for those not quite fluent enough, English surtitles running above the stage will allow you to follow the play with ease.

Day 8 :
Return Home OR Extend your Stay

Our rewarding and enjoyable tour comes to an end as our Tour Director accompanies us to the airport on our final day.
Extend your stay | Explore Nice
Extend your stay in France and travel South to Nice via the TGV. Submerge yourself in the unofficial capital of the Riviera as you explore Vieux Nice. See the palm-lined boulevard of Promenade des Anglais and visit the Russian Church before your free afternoon. Return home the following day.

Tour Central is staffed by WorldStrides employees and is available 24/7 for all traveling groups. Tour Central is there to assist you with any questions or problems that may arise—no matter how big or how small. The staff is specially trained to monitor events domestically and around the world, and has dozens of contingency plans in place to help us jump into action when necessary.
The Tour Central number for your group is printed on the WorldStrides name badges that are given to all our travelers for easy access should you need it. This is just one of the many measures that we take to ensure that your trip really is the experience of a lifetime.
Up to Three College Credits Included with this Program
Through our Discovery for Credit Program, students traveling on an international WorldStrides program have the opportunity to earn academic credit by completing an online course that allows them to reflect upon many of the themes and topics explored during their travel program. Those in grades 6–12 at the time of travel can earn free elective high school credit upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Through our university partner, George Mason University, eligible students in grades 9-12 at the time of travel can earn up to three college credits upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Students who earn credit with WorldStrides will find this distinguishes them as online learners and gives them a jump-start on their path to a successful higher education experience.
