She helps new Program Leaders select the best destination and trip format for their WorldStrides domestic tours, supplies teachers with everything needed to run a successful program, and helps get students and parents excited about the trip. WorldStrides’ Educational Travel Specialists are passionate about enriching students’ lives through experiential travel and helping bring travel opportunities to teachers and students around the country.
An integral part of the Finance Team, Marcus assists in month-end and year-end closes, creates timely and accurate financial reports and statements, provides variance analyses, and serves as a resource for accounting questions to management. The Staff Accountant maintains the highest ethical standards in the implementation of procedures and controls to safeguard company assets. The Staff Accountant supports the mission of WorldStrides through careful analysis and verification of financial information, ensuring the most responsible and effective use of the company's resources.
As a Destination Specialist for our performing arts programs, Chad provides a continual source of support to our customers throughout the planning process, working to ensure that each group enjoys the highest quality travel experience. These in-house experts are passionate about our programs and dedicated to our customers. They prepare, manage, and analyze every aspect of the final itinerary for each of their assigned festival destinations, keeping in constant communication with customers leading up to, during, and after the tour. Destination Specialists also maintain strong, positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, coordinating contracts and handling negotiations related to transportation and other travel arrangements.
When WorldStrides groups arrive in Europe for their tour, Elisabetta is their all-star! Part tour guide, part tour manager, part educator, magician, and entertainer, she wears many hats. She shares her knowledge and passion for history and culture with each group, managing their day-to-day schedule (with the support of our operations team), using LEAP methodology to engage their minds, and helping develop their passion for the world around them. As an Account Manager, Justin works directly with university faculty and administrators in the planning of their international program. Account Managers serve as the primary point person and develop long-term working relationships with the university while liaising with WorldStrides’ in-house curriculum coordinators, visa team, air support team, and finance/billing team to ensure that universities receive a seamless customer experience. Account Managers also assist throughout the planning process to ensure that the program is well-run and meets the educational and logistical needs of the university.
