The AIM Experience

Music Director with Choir Students Performance

Affirm. Inspire. Mentor. Directors have been asking for it, and here it is! The AIM Experience is an exclusive private master-class session offered as an elective to participating groups at all Heritage Festivals. This 60-90 minute concentrated educational experience provides extra performance time and customized one-on-one instruction from one of our professional clinicians. Music directors can set the focus of the session’s content through their planning call with the instructor. Reaffirm your classroom teachings, fine tune your festival performance, or focus on a few specific skills – the choice is yours! Ask your Festival Selection Advisor about setting up your own AIM Experience!

Your Adventure, Day by Day

  • Adventure Aquarium (optional) Once you enter the Adventure Aquarium, you’ll descend to the very bottom of the ocean. Swim with some of the most dangerous sea creatures and travel down treacherous African rivers.
  • Festival performances Festival performances run throughout the day at your event venue. After arriving at your concert venue, your group will warm up in a private rehearsal room. Each ensemble will perform for 15-minutes on stage. A panel of three adjudicators will provide written and recorded feedback for each performance. Following your performance, a select adjudicator will conduct a mini-clinic on stage with your group, providing valuable feedback and reinforcement for your classroom teachings. Groups will also have the opportunity to participate as an audience for other groups competing – giving your ensemble exposure to their peers.
  • Historical walking ghost tour (optional) A candlelight walking-tour along the streets of America’s most historic and haunted city.
Day 3 Continue festival performances and Gala Awards Ceremony
  • Final festival performances Festival performances will continue throughout the day. Your performance time will be given to you weeks before your event, so you can plan your day accordingly. Bringing more than one ensemble? No problem – our team will arrange your schedule so you can maximize your free time.
  • Ride the Ducks (optional) Experience Philadelphia sightseeing fun from a duck’s eye view on Philadelphia’s original duck tour. Travel on land and water in one amazing vehicle. Tour historic Philadelphia and SPLASH into the Delaware River at Penn’s Landing.
