The Italian Football Experience: Rome & Sorrento

In Italy, you'll take on hand-selected European competitors, enjoy post-match socials with the opposition, and watch your players go from teammates to family.  Explore some of Italy’s most famous sites, including Vatican City, the Piazza del Duomo, and the Colosseum. Your team can also take part in unique team-bonding experiences like a Tuscan cooking class and an excursion to the Blue Grotto of Capri.

Rome city walk

Take a walk past Rome’s most beautiful and unusual baroque fountains. At the foot of the Spanish Steps, elegant cafes surround the central fountain.

Training session

Participate in a training session led by your own coaching staff at a local field in the area.

Global Ambassadors

Serve as a global sports ambassador and spread the love of American Football.

Tivoli guided excursion

You may think Rome has a lot of fountains, but you really haven’t seen anything until you’ve been to Tivoli. See the Villa d’este, the 16thcentury home of Emperor Alexander IV’s nephew.

Colosseum Visit

The ultimate symbol of Ancient Rome, the Colosseum still dominates the modern city. Tour the amphitheater with your local licensed guide.

Vatican City & St. Peter's Basilica

Tour includes the map tapestry rooms, the Raphael Rooms, and Sistine Chapel, highlighted by Michelangelo's ceiling. Continue into St. Peter's Square to visit St. Peter's Basilica. Highlights of our visit include Michelangelo's Pieta and Bernini's magnificent Baldacchino over the high altar.

Football game

play an international exhibition game against a local team. The team will meet and compete against athletes of similar ages and skill levels, and have the opportunity to make friends for life.

Day 6 : Rome -- Sorrento
Travel to Sorrento area

Pompeii guided tour

Stop to see the city where time stood still, literally. Once an important Roman city with 20,000 residents, Pompeii was frozen in in time nearly 2000 years ago, when Mount Vesuvius erupted and buried the city under 30 feet of mud and volcanic ash.

Herculaneum visit

Sitting in the shadow of Mt. Vesuvius, the ancient town of Herculaneum was destroyed when the deadly volcano erupted in 79AD

Day 7 : Sorrento
Amalfi Coast Excursion

Enjoy the 50km stretch of beautiful coast along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine peninsula. The coastal road between the port city of Salerno and clifftop Sorrento winds past grand villas, terraced vineyards and cliffside lemon groves.

Travel to Rome

Capri & Blue Grotto Excursion

from the Bay of Naples the island of Capri is less than an hour away by boat. Weather permitting, you will take a boat to the Blue Grotto, where the sunlight reflected from beneath the water bathes the cave in a silver-blue light.
