The beautiful Arenal volcanic springs are one of the most popular attractions for visitors to Arenal. Students relax in the natural hot springs created by the Arenal Volcano.
As students enjoy time in the warm pools and waterfalls with friends, they learn about the formation of these springs and the varying temperatures and minerals in the pools.
Did you know?
The water from these natural springs is heated by geothermal heat, or heat generated from the interior of the Earth.
The waters of the hot springs are directly influenced by volcanic processes.
