A Message from Jim Hall: Greetings from Paris!

Greetings from Paris!

I arrived in Paris on Friday to meet with staff and students from International Studies Abroad (ISA), a premier study abroad company we acquired last month. It’s been great to put faces to names, meet many of WorldStrides’ newest employees, and talk about an exciting, promising future.

Of course, one cannot visit Paris without actually experiencing Paris. While here, my daughter and I have ventured out to enjoy the sights and sounds, dined at incredible restaurants and street cafes, and climbed to the top of the Eiffel Tower for one of the best views in the world.

What has impressed me most about this trip, however, is the strength and resilience of this city. In the wake of recent attacks, Paris has pulled together as one, showing that compassion and kindness will always triumph over hate. While this is not my first trip here, I’m truly moved by watching this proud city show its strength and grace.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of Paris, and to continued meetings with ISA. There are many exciting things on the horizon, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
