Head of Health & Safety
Robin is the Head of Health & Safety for WorldStrides. In her role, she is responsible for providing strategic leadership for WorldStrides’ emergency response and crisis management protocols and staying abreast of the most current health and safety issues in the field.
Robin joined WorldStrides in 2015 when International Studies Abroad (ISA) was acquired. She is a seasoned global health, safety and risk management professional who has worked in international education for 15 years. Having held various positions within the field, including working for an institution abroad, Robin holds a deep appreciation for every facet of delivering quality educational travel experiences. She has extensive experience with program planning and crisis management and is adept at anticipating and responding to student needs. Robin is valued by team members and clients alike for her strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead teams through crisis with grace.
Robin is engaged within the field as a member of Pulse International, the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), and the Health & Safety Committee for the Student & Youth Travel Association (SYTA) and has held several committee positions over the years. She has also contributed to health and safety projects for the field through the Forum on Education Abroad. Robin regularly presents at conferences on topics within her area of expertise.
A Philadelphia native, Robin received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her B.A. in Political Science magna cum laude from West Chester University. In her free time, Robin enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with family and friends over long meals. She is an avid traveler, having visited over 30 countries, and considers France – where she met and married her husband – her second home.
