WorldStrides Medical Advisor

Dr. Neal Sikka* is a board certificated emergency physician and professor of emergency medicine at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and The GW Medical Faculty Associates, GW’s affiliated multi-specialty group practice.  As a member of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Sikka serves as Chief of the Innovative Practice and Telehealth Section, leads the GW Onsite program which provides telehealth and on-location medical care services, and is the designated medical advisor to WorldStrides.

He earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Illinois and his Doctor of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, before interning at the Barnes Jewish Hospital and completing his residency in emergency medicine at GWU. He specializes in and studies innovative delivery methods for medicine, including telemedicine and digital health as well as remote medical access with a focus on concierge medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and is an active educator and mentor for the George Washington University residency program and medical school.
