Miami Seaquarium

Students enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to swim with dolphins at the Miami Seaquarium. This state-of-the-art facility was opened to fulfill the need for an appreciation of our ocean and its living creatures, and is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of injured marine animals. Instructors from the Seaquarium first educate groups about the physiology, behavior, and natural history of dolphins, and then lead them in a structured dolphin swim. Students will be amazed when they interact with these playful and intelligent creatures.

Did you know?

  • Dolphins are part of the Cetacea family of animals, which includes whales and porpoises.
  • Bottlenose dolphins can live to be more than 50 years old.
