Executive Vice President, Individual
The daughter and granddaughter of teachers, Amanda began working in the education space over 20 years ago in the classroom as a substitute teacher and a facilitator for WorldStrides programs. She has since served in various roles inside and outside the classroom in the education and edtech space. In her current role as Executive Vice President, Amanda oversees all the WorldStrides individual program experiences geared toward elementary, middle, and high school students, which include career exploration, performing arts, and pre-college programs as well as individual sign-up educational travel programs. Originally from Virginia, she graduated from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina and spent time conducting research at Columbia University’s Biosphere 2 Center in Oracle, Arizona. A lifelong learner, Amanda is an MBA candidate at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two children.
