WorldStrides One of Only Five Organizations to Earn Certification

New York, New York – June 24, 2022 – WorldStrides today announced that it was awarded certification as a Certified Student Travel Organization (CSTO) by the Student and Youth Travel Associations (SYTA)’s Center for Student Travel Safety – “The Voice of Student and Youth Travel.” WorldStrides is proud to be one of only five organizations across the country to achieve this certification – a testament to the company’s decades-long commitment to safety.

The CSTO certification is awarded to companies who have met or exceeded the minimum of 25 safety standards established by the Center and SYTA. SYTA is the only association in the industry equipped to educate student travel providers about all aspects of student travel, with an emphasis on safety and personal and educational enrichment. The standards are derived from the most effective practices in the industry and are based upon SYTA’s Code of Ethics and reviewed by an objective commission of industry experts.

“WorldStrides is proud to be an industry leader both in world-class trips and in our unparalleled commitment to the health and safety of our students, staff and partners,” said Bob Gogel, President and CEO of WorldStrides. “We’re honored to be recognized as a certified student travel organization, and are grateful to the Center for Student Travel Safety for their strong dedication to promoting safety in the student travel industry.”

“We are very proud that WorldStrides, a SYTA member, is a certified Student Travel Safety Organization.” said Carylann Assante, SYTA CEO. “WorldStrides has demonstrated its dedication to reaching the highest level of professionalism in our industry. Their clients can feel an extra added measure of confidence that they are working with a company that values and prioritizes education and training in safety and risk management.”
