Announcing Our 2018 WorldStrides Photo and Video Contest

Show us your best shot – or video – and win $1,000!

Get those cameras ready. Our 2018 WorldStrides Photo and Video Contest is here!

Any student who travels on a WorldStrides program from January 1, 2018 to August 1, 2018 is invited to enter their photos and videos from their program for a chance to win a $75 Amazon Gift card in one of five photo categories or three video categories. From the finalists, two grand prize winners will receive $1,000!

Photo Categories:

• Selfie – You being you, wherever you are. It’s #themomentwhen you find yourself doing something ep-ic.
• Group Shot – Y’all being y’all, wherever y’all are.
• Landmark – A postcard-worthy shot of an incredible sight!
• Action – Whether you’re playing a match, taking the stage, or being a gladiator, show us #themomentwhen you caught a single frame of something awesome.
• Nature – Show us #themomentwhen Earth really knocked your socks off.

Video Categories

• Story time – Inspire us with a moment – a complete and compelling story from your trip.
• Trip Highlight Reel – Show off your editing chops and give us a prime cut that captures your trip experience. This is #themomentwhen you let your creativity run wild.
• Best Boomerang – One of our favorite video apps is perfect for travel – throw us your best Boomerang!

And even if you don’t participate, we’ll need your help. We’ll award each category winner a $75 Amazon Gift Card, then YOU get to help choose the grand prize winners! In August, we’ll post our finalists in the photo and video categories and you can vote on your favorites. The winner will receive $1,000!
