Get a feel for Ireland’s emerald beauty on an excursion around the Iveragh Peninsula on the panoramic coastal route, Ring of Kerry. Along the 112 miles of breathtaking views, you’ll spy 360 degrees of the vast Atlantic Ocean, the Lakes of Killarney, the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks (Ireland’s tallest mountains), and every shade of green known to the Emerald Isle.

Explore the mansion built in 1843 by British architect William Burn.
Day 4 :

Visit Blarney Castle
En route to Dublin, kiss the famous stone at Blarney Castle and see the Rock of Cashel.

Guided Tour of Dublin
A local guide shows you the exciting capital of the Emerald Isle, including Trinity College, Phoenix Park, and O'Connell Street. View the medieval illustrated Book of Kells in the college's Old Library. Also see the Dublin General Post Office, the scene of the Easter Rising of 1916.

Be Irish for a day! Experience firsthand how Irish farmers tend to their land and animals. Learn all about traditional Ireland: speak their native language, dance a jig, or play the bodhran, a traditional Irish drum made from goatskin.

Join a local guide for a view of England's capital city: the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, and Trafalgar Square.
Day 9 :

Optional Canterbury and Dover full-day excursion
Canterbury was an important Roman town because of its location on the route between London and Dover. Tour the beautiful and historic Canterbury Cathedral, a place of pilgrimage for over 800 years. Founded in the 6th century by St. Augustine, it remains one of the oldest standing Anglo-Saxon churches in the world and is one of the oldest Christian churches in England. Then, travel back over 600 years to join Geoffrey Chaucer and his colorful characters on their pilgrimage from London to the shrine of St. Thomas Becket in Canterbury Cathedral at the Canterbury Tales Museum. End your day with a visit to Dover Castle.

Up to Three College Credits Included with this Program
Through our Discovery for Credit Program, students traveling on an international WorldStrides program have the opportunity to earn academic credit by completing an online course that allows them to reflect upon many of the themes and topics explored during their travel program. Those in grades 6–12 at the time of travel can earn free elective high school credit upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Through our university partner, George Mason University, eligible students in grades 9-12 at the time of travel can earn up to three college credits upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Students who earn credit with WorldStrides will find this distinguishes them as online learners and gives them a jump-start on their path to a successful higher education experience.
