Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi completely changed the face of architecture in Spain – and the world. He focused his energy on creating organic, natural structures that surprise and delight the viewer. His most famous building is Sagrada Familia, a cathedral in Barcelona. But the Casa Milá is pretty special –a residential building (commissioned by businessman Pedro Milá), built from 1906-1910, and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Gaudi museum. This lesson will focus on videos and images of Casa Milá, since a visual component is critical to understanding this extraordinary Modernist building
