A local guide shows you Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square with Nelson's Column, and lively Piccadilly Circus. Try to crack a smile on the stoic faces of the guards at Buckingham Palace during the colorful military ceremony of the Changing of the Guard (seasonal).

Day 4 : Oxford & Stratford

A walking tour of Oxford includes Christ Church College and the Bodleian Library.

Shakespeare's Stratford

Continue to Shakespeare's hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon to visit the Bard's birthplace and his wife Anne Hathaway's cottage.

Day 5 : Warwick & York

Visit the imposing medieval Warwick Castle.

Day 6 : York & Hadrian's Wall

Explore the medieval walled city of York, land of invading Vikings and Normans, on a walking tour.

This morning, a local guide shows you the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, and the Georgian New Town. Visit Edinburgh Castle, home of St. Margaret's Chapel and the Scottish crown jewels.

Day 8 : To Dublin
Flight to Ireland

Fly across the Irish Sea to Dublin.

Get a friendly introduction to Ireland’s capital city, compliments of your Tour Director. Discover an international urbanscape of Georgian buildings, castles, and cathedrals. Literary legends and budding musicians. All while one million people welcome you with smiling eyes. Stroll bustling O’Connell Street, once (at 150 ft wide) the widest street in Europe, and still the busiest thoroughfare in Dublin. Pass shop after shop of local and global wares and flairs, and a lush street-meridian lined with tall trees and ebony statues of Irish leaders. Make your way to the end of the strip to Parnell Square, an antique scape of red-brick townhouses and classic Irish theaters. As you wander the streets, take in the international glamour of Ireland’s most cosmopolitan city.

Day 9 : Explore Dublin

A local guide introduces the Dublin General Post Office, seized during the 1916 Easter Rising; the Dail (Irish Parliament); Phoenix Park; O'Connell Street; and Trinity College.

Up to Three College Credits Included with this Program

Through our Discovery for Credit Program, students traveling on an international WorldStrides program have the opportunity to earn academic credit by completing an online course that allows them to reflect upon many of the themes and topics explored during their travel program. Those in grades 6–12 at the time of travel can earn free elective high school credit upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Through our university partner, George Mason University, eligible students in grades 9-12 at the time of travel can earn up to three college credits upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Students who earn credit with WorldStrides will find this distinguishes them as online learners and gives them a jump-start on their path to a successful higher education experience.
