L.E.A.P to learn Our learning difference

Our trademarked approach to learning—LEAP—actively involves students in what they're seeing and doing. This active engagement between students, the places they visit, and their Course Leaders allows students (and teachers) to absorb more and build their knowledge and social skills. Welcome to real-world learning Travel brings the classroom to life.

Whether reliving the past or discovering the future, true learning can't be done from a distance. It requires hands-on exploration and travel delivers it! When students get up close with the subjects they've only read about in books, learning moments are brought to life in a way in a way not possible in the classroom.

We’re an actual school We’re a school, too.

WorldStrides is accredited by educational bodies across the country, and we have a dedicated Curriculum and Academics Department—this means we're an actual school (we just don't have walls!). As a school, we can offer students high school and college credit, and teachers free professional development. Comments about WorldStrides Discover Colonial History:

I am a parent that went with my son's 8th grade class. This trip was absolutely fabulous. I loved visiting Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. We even took the time to go over to Jamestown Island to see the actual location of the settlement. In Colonial Williamsburg, we went on a ghost tour the evening of our arrival. This tour gave us so much more information about the town that we would not have gotten otherwise. The tour guide was so knowledgeable. We stayed at the Doubletree, which was a fabulous hotel. Dinner was at the Golden Corral which was perfect because everyone could find something they liked. This restaurant has groups down to a science. As best I could tell, there were 4 groups dining at the same time, but it never seemed over crowded, and there was plenty of food available. Lunch the next day was at a historic tavern there in Colonial Williamsburg. It was a great lunch.
