Sightseeing with a local guide includes the Neo-Gothic Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey. Your tour ends at Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guards (seasonal).
Visit St. Paul's Cathedral
As one of London’s most famous and most recognizable sites, St. Paul’s Cathedral stands as a lasting monument to the hope, resilience, and strength of the city itself. Take a walk down the very same aisle that Princess Diana did (minus the elaborate flowing train, of course) and experience the ornate beauty and intricate detail of the impressive high altar.
Day 4 :
Paris
Journey to Paris
Take the high-speed train through the Channel Tunnel to France's capital.

This afternoon, explore the city with a local guide, visit sites that include the Arc de Triomphe and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Napoleon's gold-domed Les Invalides, Place de la Concorde, the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Élysées, and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Versailles
Discover Versailles
Travel to Louis XIV's decadent Palace of Versailles. Tour the immense Hall of Mirrors, the royal apartments and the gardens. Opt to enjoy breathtaking views from atop the Eiffel Tower.

Stroll Kornmarkt and Weinmarkt Squares, see the Lion Monument, the Jesuit Church, and the city fortifications.

Visit Zurich, an optional excursion, known as "Downtown Switzerland". The city acts as headquarters for five world banks and countless underground gold bullions. Later, explore the old town (Altstadt) and get a sense of why this city was named number one for best quality of life; stroll through parks and quays, relax by Lake Zurich or shop for products unique to Switzerland.

Visit Hohenschwangau Castle then take a scenic hike to see Neuschwanstein Castle (no visit) and St. Mary's Bridge for a photo stop!
Day 9 :

Tour Munich
Encounter the city's magnificent residences, theaters, concert halls, and refined streets and parks with a local guide. Your tour includes the Frauenkirche, the Richard Strauss Fountain, the Residenz, and the Glockenspiel in the Marienplatz. Marvel at Nymphenburg Palace. Its 500 acres are lined with French trimmed hedges and boast three pavilions and a miniature palace.

Take an elevator up into the stunning Glass Dome to witness dramatic views both internally of the building and externally of Berlin.

Up to Three College Credits Included with this Program
Through our Discovery for Credit Program, students traveling on an international WorldStrides program have the opportunity to earn academic credit by completing an online course that allows them to reflect upon many of the themes and topics explored during their travel program. Those in grades 6–12 at the time of travel can earn free elective high school credit upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Through our university partner, George Mason University, eligible students in grades 9-12 at the time of travel can earn up to three college credits upon successful completion of both the travel program and online course. Students who earn credit with WorldStrides will find this distinguishes them as online learners and gives them a jump-start on their path to a successful higher education experience.
