Ready, Set, Let's Go

Taking the first steps toward your adventure abroad is as easy as one, two, three.

  1. Check your eligibility

Meet with your advisor to get approved for the program, talk about credit transfer, and to make sure you meet all of the requirements for a EuroScholars program:

    • You must have a minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA
    • You must be enrolled in a U.S. or Canadian home institution while participating in the program
    • You should have a strong interest in research
    • You should be a highly motivated and independent student
  2. Complete your application

The application review process is completed on a rolling basis and can take 2 - 6 weeks for the research teams to review your application. We recommend applying as soon as possible.

Visit euroscholars.eu to learn more about the available research projects. You'll select one project of interest from two different EuroScholars universities (two projects total).

    Apply Now

  3. Submit supporting documents

Once you’ve applied, we'll process your application and connect you directly with your EuroScholars institution to complete the admittance process. You'll be required to submit the following documents through our student portal:

    • Cover letter
    • Academic resume
    • Two academic letters of recommendation
    • EuroScholars credit verification
    • Project identification and personal statements (prompts provided)
    • Official transcripts
  4. Participate in review process

We'll submit all your documentation to the host universities for review by their research teams. The host university will contact you regarding your acceptance status in 2 - 6 weeks. In most cases, a call with the research project supervisor will be arranged to discuss your application in greater detail before a final decision is made.

  5. Get approved

Following your acceptance, additional paperwork and payment will need to be submitted to WorldStrides by the final forms and payment due date.

Your home institution must complete the Learning Agreement after acceptance into a project, even if you will not be transferring credits to that institution. The Learning Agreement must be completed and signed by you, your home university, and your host institution in order for final program approval to be granted.
