Overview
Perform at the Hollywood Heritage Festival in the entertainment capital of Los Angeles, where stars are born! Your students will enhance their performance skills with expert instruction and feedback by a panel of adjudicators. Plus, enjoy an included pass to Universal Studios Hollywood® and celebrate in style at a Hollywood-worthy gala awards ceremony inside the park.
Itinerary
Day 1
Travel to Los Angeles, CA
AIM Experience Master Class (optional)
Start the weekend off on the right note with your own customized master class—the AIM Experience. Spend 60-90 minutes with a professional clinician perfecting your festival performance, fine-tuning your skills, and reaffirming your classroom teachings.
Pirate's Dinner Adventure (optional)
Arrr! Enjoy the world’s largest and most interactive dinner show – complete with great food, delightful entertainment, and an adventure featuring amazing aerial artistry, swashbuckling swordplay, and show stopping original music. All this set aboard an authentic replica of an 18th century Spanish Galleon afloat in a 250,000-gallon lagoon!
Day 2
First day of festival performances
After arriving at the concert venue, your group will warm up in a private rehearsal room. Each ensemble will have 30-35 minutes on stage. A panel of three adjudicators will provide written and recorded feedback for each performance. Following your performance, a select adjudicator will conduct a mini-clinic on stage with your group, providing valuable feedback and reinforcement for your classroom teachings. Groups will also have the opportunity to participate as an audience for other groups competing—giving your ensemble exposure to their peers.
Universal Studios Hollywood® (optional upgrade)
Your package includes a one-day pass to Universal Studios Hollywood! Upgrade to a two-day pass to enjoy even more time in the park. Experience the thrills of this incredible theme park with attractions like Jurassic Park: The Ride, Fast & Furious – Supercharged, and WaterWorld – just to name a few!
Day 3
Continue festival performances
Festival performances will continue throughout the day. Your performance time will be given to you weeks before your event, so you can plan your day accordingly.
Universal Studios Hollywood® Visit
Test your limits with movie-inspired thrills and adventures you won’t find anywhere else. Top rides include the World-Famous Studio Tour, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Jurassic World The Ride, Transformers The Ride 3D, Revenge of the Mummy, and The Secret Life of Pets Off the Leash.
Exclusive Awards Ceremony at Universal Studios Hollywood®
All groups will attend an exclusive Awards Ceremony inside the park! But this isn’t just any awards ceremony – you’ll even have the chance to meet some of Universal’s iconic characters. Choirs, orchestras, and bands will be celebrated for top scores in their class, and standout individuals will be honored for their exceptional performances.

Payment Plans
Advantage Payment Plan
At program sign-up you can opt to pay in full, or break up the cost of your trip with the Advantage Payment Plan. This plan allows you to pay a small initial deposit, then have your remaining payments spread out into affordable monthly amounts.

Fundraising Tools
Our easy-to-use tools put students in the driver's seat of their own fundraising efforts. Students can send e-cards, share links on social media, and even send out printed letters through WorldStrides' Gift of Education program. In one click friends and family members can make a direct donation to the trip - with 100% of the money raised going to offset their trip price. Thousands of students pay for their entire trip each year through the Gift of Education.
