Day 1 Depart from North America
  • Flight to Paris Relax and enjoy your scheduled flight from North America.
Day 2 Arrive in Paris
  • Welcome to Paris! Fly overnight to Paris. Begin exploring the capital of France.
Day 3 Paris
  • Explore Paris with a local guide A local guide brings you to the Arc de Triomphe, the majestic Eiffel Tower, the sweeping Champs-Élysées, and Les Invalides. Take in gorgeous views of Paris from the Eiffel Tower. Visit the inside of Notre Dame Cathedral, home to the fictional hunchback.
  • Visit the Louvre Museum Appreciate artwork in the Louvre Museum.
  • Travel to the top of the Eiffel Tower Opt to see the breathtaking sights atop the Eiffel Tower.
Day 4 Versailles
  • Discover the Palace of Versailles Picture the flow of royalty through the Palace of Versailles. A tour brings you to the Hall of Mirrors, the royal apartments and the gardens.
  • LEAP Seize the Château!
  • Board the TGV to Provence Board the TGV for a speedy ride to Provence.
Day 5 Nîmes-Pont Du Gard
  • Take a walking tour of Nîmes Marvel at the Roman buildings of Nîmes: the Maison Carrée and the awesome Roman arena, the best preserved in France.
  • See the Pont du Gard This afternoon view the Pont du Gard, 52 arches on three levels that are part of a skillfully engineered Roman aqueduct.

Day 6 Carcassonne
  • Explore Carcassonne Visit the medieval walled city of Carcassonne.
  • Continue to Barcelona Continue to the Olympic city of Barcelona in Spain.
Day 7 Barcelona
  • See Barcelona with a local guide The dark Gothic corners and bright flower-lined streets of Barcelona are yours to explore with a local guide. Sightseeing includes the Sagrada Família Cathedral, Casa Milà, the Olympic stadium and the historic Barri Gòtic.
Day 8 Madrid
  • Board the AVE for Madrid
  • Explore Madrid with a local guide Discover this vibrant capital with a local guide.See the Plaza Colón and study Spanish art, including Velazquez's Las Meninas in the Prado.
  • Visit the Prado Museum
Day 9 Madrid
  • Visit the Reina Sofía Museum Study Picasso's Guernica in the Reina Sofía Museum.
  • LEAP Cocina Española
  • Add on: El Escorial Discover King Phillip II's imposing palace, El Escorial. This massive structure is home to over 500 frescoes and 1600 paintings by famous artists such as Velazquez and El Greco. Today the palace functions as a monastery, royal palace, museum and school.
Day 10 Return Journey OR Extend your Stay
  • Flight to the US Our rewarding and enjoyable tour comes to an end as our Tour Director accompanies us to the airport on our final day. Or, opt to extend your stay.
