Day 1 Begin Your Tour of Costa Rica
  • Depart from U.S.A. Relax and enjoy your scheduled flight from the United States.
  • Begin your tour of Costa Rica Experience the central hub of Costa Rica by taking a city tour of San José including a private tour of the National Stadium of Costa Rica.
  • Training session at a nearby field The team will participate in a training session by your coaching staff to prepare for upcoming friendly matches.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant
Day 2 Make Costa Rica Beautiful
  • First friendly match Your team will play a friendly match against a local club or school team of similar ages and skill levels.
  • Community service activity Participate in a volunteer activity in the San José area. Based on needs at the time of travel, the team may participate in humanitarian, environmental or community based projects.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant
Day 3 Visit Poás Volcano National Park
  • Training session at a nearby field The team will participate in a training session by your coaching staff to prepare for upcoming friendly matches.
  • Visit Poás Volcano National Park Poás volcano is an 8,000 foot high stratovolcano featuring the biggest geyser in the world.
  • The Doka Challenge Complete the ropes course that spans over Doka Estate’s coffee plantations which includes 14 different elements including a catwalk, zip-lines, a swinging bridge and more.
  • Dinner at the Tiquicia Restaurant
  • Located high in the mountain overlooking San Jose and the central valley, the team will enjoy traditional
Day 4 Travel to La Paz Gardens
  • Migrate to Arenal For the next three nights, the team’s base will be in the Arenal area.
  • Second friendly match Your team will play a friendly match against a local club or school team of similar ages and skill levels.
  • Lunch at La Paz The team will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at La Paz’s magnificent restaurant just off the hummingbird garden.
  • La Paz Waterfall Gardens The team will visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens, one of the most beautiful and fascinating attractions in Costa Rica.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant
Day 5 Explore Arenal
  • Training session at a nearby field The team will participate in a training session by your coaching staff to prepare for upcoming friendly matches.
  • Arenal National Park Hike The team will enjoy a tour of Arenal National Park. An area of more than 7,100 acres and includes the viewing and parking areas closest to the Arenal Volcano.
  • Sky Tram and Trek Enjoy an aerial tram ride on cable cars with open carriages which will whisk you up the northern slopes of the Cordillera de Tilaran to the lookout point at 4,250 feet.

Day 6 Relax Your Mind and Body
  • Third friendly match Your team will play a friendly match against a local club or school team of similar ages and skill levels.
  • Safari Peñas Blancas River Boat Tour Enjoy a soothing two-hour rafting trip on the Peñas Blancas, a slow flowing and mellow river ideal for wildlife observation and an experience of Costa Rica that otherwise goes unnoticed.
  • Volcanic Hot Springs The team will submerge into natural medicinal waters of the Volcanic Hot Springs at the base of the Arenal Volcano. The springs include several pools of thermal water of varying temperatures, rich in minerals and filled with healing properties – perfect for healing the bodies of elite level athletes.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant
Day 7 From Mountains to Beaches
  • Training session at a nearby field The team will participate in a training session by your coaching staff to prepare for upcoming friendly matches.
  • Lake Arenal Canoeing Enjoy a pleasant afternoon on a canoe tour of Lake Arenal.
  • Going to Guanacaste The team will now leave the Arenal area to move to Guanacaste – an area famous for its sun-splashed beaches and great Pacific surf.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant
Day 8 A Great Day in Guanacaste
  • Hacienda Guachipelin The team will travel to a truly eco-touristic love for adventure travelers and nature lovers called Hacienda Guachipelin. It features wonderful views of both the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano and the Pacific Ocean.
  • Horseback Ride The day begins with a horseback ride through the dry forest followed by a short walk to the base of La Victoria Waterfall.
  • Canyon Canopy Tour Experience an adrenaline rush like no other with an exclusive canyon canopy tour. Fly through the trees on zip-lines, rappel, rock climb and cross hanging bridges over a narrow river canyon.
  • Ride the Rio Negro Enjoy the time of your life riding the watery rollercoaster of the Rio Negro in inner tube rafts splashing down three miles of rapids in the narrow river of crystal clear water. Finish the ride by rejuvenating in the therapeutic properties of the Rio Negro man-made hot springs.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant
Day 9 Beach Day
  • Fourth friendly match Your team will play a friendly match against a local club or school team of similar ages and skill levels.
  • Fun in the sun The team will spend the afternoon at Playa del Coco, one of the most accessible and popular beach areas in Guanacaste. This popular beach town is an excellent base for aquatic excursions and features a nice selection of shopping and restaurants.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant
Day 10 Tour Comes to an End
  • Heading home Be escorted to the airport by your Tour Director as the once-in-a-lifetime sports tour experience comes to an end.
