Overview
Visit Argentina and the Falls with your students. Welcome to Buenos Aires, "The Paris of South America." A local guide shows you the city's many boulevards, gives you a tango lesson, and takes you to a show. You will experience Argentina's stunning landscape by horseback with a Gaucho. Next, take a flight to Iguazú National Park to see the magnificent falls before heading back to Buenos Aires for more cultural highlights and local markets.

Your 24-hour Tour Director will meet you at the airport and remain with your group until your final airport departure.
Day 3
Buenos Aires guided sightseeing tour
Plaza de Mayo, Congress Hall, San Telmo district, La Recoleta, Metropolitan Cathedral visit
LEAP Tango Argentina
Feel the passion as professional instructors teach you the tango, Argentina's favorite dance. Discover the tango's origins in 19th century Buenos Aires and learn about its place in today's culture. Later, relax and watch the pros perform in a dramatic show.
Day 4
Estancia tour
LEAP Go Gaucho!
Saddle up for a gaucho-style horseback ride through the stunning Argentinean landscape as you tour a working agricultural ranch. For safety reasons, weight restrictions apply to this activity.
Day 5
Fly to Iguaçu
Iguazu Falls National Park visit (Argentinian side)
Explore Iguazu National Park, home to up to eight miles of trails on the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. Follow three different circuits: the upper circuit offers panoramic views from above, while the lower circuit takes you through the forest and beneath cascading water. Ride a short train along the final circuit, then walk across river bridges to reach the Devil’s Throat, the most powerful and dramatic of the falls. If water levels permit, cross to Isla San Martín for a different perspective of this natural wonder.
Day 6
Iguazu Falls
The spray from the enormous and spectacular waterfalls in Iguazu National Park creates a lush rainforest environment filled with unique animals. Watch for giant otters and anteaters, along with exquisite orchids and other plants, as you explore. Get up close to Iguazu Falls, which plunge from more than 50 feet above, and follow a stone staircase that leads to the river.

Fly to Buenos Aires
Local market visit
Visit a local street market and shop for souvenirs.
Day 8
La Plata half-day excursion (optional)
Enjoy a half day tour of La Plata, the capital city of the Province of Buenos Aires. La Plata is a paradigm of advanced urban planning from the 19th century. We will visit the impressive neo-Gothic Cathedral, the diagonals, the Astronomical Observatory, the Argentinian Theater, and the Museum of Natural Science — the most important museum in South America of its kind.
Day 9
El Tigre excursion
Take an excursion to the Tigre area through the Paraná delta. On a boat ride, you'll enjoy the stunning scenery of beautiful islands and water channels.

Students can send e-cards, share links on social media, and even send out printed letters through WorldStrides' Gift of Education program. In one click friends and family members can make a direct donation to the trip - with 100% of the money raised going to offset their trip price. Thousands of students pay for their entire trip each year through the Gift of Education.
