Day 1
Overnight flight to France (Nice)
Day 2
Arrive in Nice
Meet your Tour Director
Your 24-hour Tour Director will meet you at the airport and remain with your group until your final airport departure.
Nice Tour Director-led sightseeing
The Côte d'Azur's largest city spills down the hillsides to pebble beaches that line the shore. Your Tour Director will show you around the narrow pedestrian streets and tiny squares of "Le Vieux Nice" (Old Town), which is sprinkled with old palaces and mansions. Stroll down the Promenade des Anglais, which runs parallel to the water. Backed by Nice's grand hotels, the Promenade was built in the 19th century for the British who flocked here en masse.
Day 3
Marc Chagall National Museum visit
Survey the biblical-themed works at the Musée Marc Chagall. This Russian-born artist donated his works to France nearly 20 years prior to his death. 450 pieces of his works are on display.
St Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral visit
Stroll through the Cathédrale Orthodoxe Russe St-Nicolas à Nice. Built by Nicholas II, the cathedral is considered the finest example of Orthodox architecture outside Russia.

In Nice, venue options include, but are not limited to: Eglise St Pierre D'Arene, Holy Trinity Church or an exchange with a local school, university or community group.

Travel to Avignon via Aix-en-Provence

Palais des Papes visit
Delve into the history of one of Europe’s largest and most important medieval Gothic buildings as you explore its grand halls, papal apartments, chapels, and more.
Pont du Gard visit
A masterpiece of Roman engineering, the Pont du Gard aqueduct is one of the most stunning ancient monuments in Provence. Explore its arches and learn how this marvel carried water across the Gardon Valley for centuries.
Avignon performance
Enjoy performances at churches (some have restricted sacred repertoire and others allow secular,) temples, museums and cultural centers, significant historic sights or exchange concerts with local schools, universities or community groups. For all performances we work closely with each group to ensure the perfect venue to meet their vision. Speak with your WorldStrides representative about what options would be best for your group.
Day 6
Travel to Barcelona via Perpignan
Las Ramblas treasure hunt
Take interactive learning to another level with a Tour Director-led treasure hunt of Las Ramblas, the most famous pedestrian street of Barcelona! Complete exciting activities and solve fun clues. Each clue and every activity is built to maximize on-tour experiential learning.
Day 7
Gaudí’s Sagrada Família guided visit
This breathtaking church, considered the masterpiece of architect Antoni Gaudí, has been under construction since 1882 and is expected to be completed in 2026. Despite its unfinished state, its 18 soaring towers soar above Barcelona’s skyline, making it a must-see landmark.
Barcelona performance
Potential venues include (but not limited to): The Maritime Museum at the Royal Arsenal (built in 1378, this is one of the most visited museums in the city and located at the end of Las Ramblas) or an exchange concert with a local school or community group.

Our easy-to-use tools put students in the driver's seat of their own fundraising efforts. Students can send e-cards, share links on social media, and even send out printed letters through WorldStrides' Gift of Education program. In one click friends and family members can make a direct donation to the trip - with 100% of the money raised going to offset their trip price. Thousands of students pay for their entire trip each year through the Gift of Education.
