Overview
Introduce your students to the rich history of Dallas! Your class will enjoy an immersive walking tour through the Dealey Plaza Historic District, explore Fair Park—the only unaltered, pre-1950s World Fair site in the United States—and honor the long legacy of military service at the National Medal of Honor Museum. Your group will also explore the Dallas Zoo and the Dallas World Aquarium.

Travel to Dallas, TX
Lunch
National Medal of Honor Museum visit
View personal artifacts and interactive displays highlighting the lives and legacies of Medal of Honor recipients. Hear the stories of their extraordinary acts of service, learn how the medal has evolved from the Civil War to the present day, and explore the role of technology on the battlefield.
Dallas Zoo visit
Journey through the largest zoo in Texas and discover the variety of its more than 2,000 creatures, from elephants and capybaras to African painted dogs. Engage with hands-on exhibits and learn about STEM topics, like DNA extraction and microbiology.
Fair Park visit
Explore the only unaltered pre-1950s World Fair site in the United States and the largest collection of Art Deco exposition buildings.
Dinner
Ghost Tour
Head out for an evening of frightful fun while exploring Dallas’ spookiest sites and landmarks. Follow along as your guide shares fascinating local ghost stories that blend history and humor with a hint of haunting.
Day 2

Dealey Plaza historic district Course Leader–Led walking tour
Pay homage to the life and service of President John F. Kennedy at this historic plaza where he was assassinated in 1963. Explore the motorcade route he took, visit landmarks like the JFK Memorial, the Grassy Knoll, and the Texas School Book Depository.
The Dallas World Aquarium visit
Explore this multi-story oasis of indoor jungles, tropical rainforests, and marine ecosystems, as you learn about ocean and rainforest conservation. Walk through an underwater tunnel, visit a large cenote, and learn about unique animals, like sloths, tamarins, and vampire bats.
Lunch
Dallas Museum of Art visit
View masterpieces, discuss your interpretations, and create your own art while exploring a collection of 25,000 works spanning 5,000 years, from ancient Mediterranean cultures to modern artists like Georgia O'Keeffe, Francis Bacon, and Jackson Pollock.

In one click friends and family members can make a direct donation to the trip - with 100% of the money raised going to offset their trip price. Thousands of students pay for their entire trip each year through the Gift of Education.
