Overview
Take your students on a journey through the vibrant tech scene of Boston. Your students will participate in a robotics and coding workshop hosted by MIT PhD Graduates, where they’ll learn to build – and fly! – a helicopter with their friends. Students will also get a behind-the-scenes tour of Fenway Park, where they’ll uncover the STEM connections between the iconic ballpark and America’s favorite pastime.

Boston Duck Boat Tours Experience
This uniquely engineered vehicle operates on both land and water and takes you on a fact-filled tour of important sites around Boston from both the city streets and the Charles River.

Fenway Park STEM tour
Experience an educational behind-the-scenes tour of the iconic Fenway Park. Students will explore its rich history and uncover the STEM connections that shape both this beloved landmark and the game of baseball.

Museum of Science visit
Participate in a hands-on, interactive scavenger hunt while exploring the museum. Discover and learn about a range of topics, from atomic energy and natural history to technological advancements shaping our world today.
New England Aquarium visit
Enjoy exploring this aquarium, home to thousands of aquatic animals. Groups have the opportunity to select and attend educational presentations from animal care specialists.

Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Quincy Market
You can’t visit Boston without experiencing a touch of the rich local history. Take in the local sights as you explore this historic local hangout filled with shops, stalls, food, and performance artists.

Whale Watching
Set sail for the whale watch experience of a lifetime. Cruise to Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary, a rich feeding ground for whales, dolphins, sea birds and other marine creatures. New England Aquarium naturalist will share their knowledge and answer your questions onboard about the mind blowing behaviors of these magnificent creatures.

MIT Campus Tour
Walk this iconic campus on a tour led by MIT students. Learn about the university founded to accelerate the nation’s Industrial Revolution.
Dinner
Boda Borg visit
Experience “questing” in a real-world gaming environment. Tackle mental and physical challenges to progress through your Quest at this escape room like destination.
Day 4
Breakfast and hotel check-out
Drone Workshop
Students get a drone, but no controller! They’ll learn engineering by building their own RC controller for a quadrotor. Working in teams, they’ll wire a complete circuit, learn to read and interpret circuit diagrams, and participate in the autonomous airshow to showcase their custom flight.

At program sign-up you can opt to pay in full, or break up the cost of your trip with the Advantage Payment Plan. This plan allows you to pay a small initial deposit, then have your remaining payments spread out into affordable monthly amounts.

Fundraising Tools
Our easy-to-use tools put students in the driver's seat of their own fundraising efforts. Students can send e-cards, share links on social media, and even send out printed letters through WorldStrides' Gift of Education program. In one click friends and family members can make a direct donation to the trip - with 100% of the money raised going to offset their trip price. Thousands of students pay for their entire trip each year through the Gift of Education.
