Overview
Journey back in time to Colonial America on this epic educational tour to Boston. Check out the Old North Church where the Boston Tea Party was conceived (spoiler alert: this was not your traditional tea party!), follow in the footsteps of those who walked the Freedom Trail, and listen to the historical echoes of the first shots of the Revolutionary War at Lexington Green. Students will also check out Plymouth Rock and climb aboard a replica of the ship that brought the Pilgrims to America in 1620. Throughout the journey, participate in devotionals and discussions about the impact of God and the lessons we can learn about faith in our world today.

Immerse yourself in Revolutionary history as you journey through the heart of downtown Boston. Visit the legendary Old South Meeting House and Faneuil Hall Marketplace as your guide shares stories of protests, debates, and key moments that fueled America’s fight for independence.

Travel to Plymouth, MA
Plymouth Rock photo stop
Visit this symbolic site commemorating the historic 1620 Mayflower landing and Pilgrims’ arrival to America. Step inside the airy portico to capture photos of the legendary granite boulder engraved with 1620 on its side.
Mayflower II visit
Board the Mayflower II, a full-scale replica of the legendary ship that carried the Pilgrims to America in 1620. Walk the decks, see the cramped quarters where passengers lived for 66 days at sea, and discover what life was like for those who helped shape a new beginning in America.
Plimoth Patuxet visit
Step into 17th-century America as you explore historic homes, traditional crafts, and daily life in a Plymouth Colony village. Participate in demonstrations, meet costumed interpreters, and learn about the history and culture of the Wampanoag.

Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum visit
Board an authentically restored 18th-century tea shop for a captivating reenactment of the Boston Tea Party protest. Explore American Revolutionary history through interactive exhibits, feel the thrill of throwing tea overboard, and view rare artifacts like the Robinson Tea Chest.
Freedom Trail North End walking tour
Follow the red brick path through Boston’s oldest residential neighborhood, rich in Revolutionary history. Visit Old North Church and Paul Revere’s home as your guide shares stories of patriotic heroes, midnight rides, and the critical events that sparked America’s fight for independence.

Enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views of Boston from the top three floors of the Prudential Center Tower. See the skyline and historic landmarks from a new perspective and explore a 3D model of the city with interactive history and map exhibits.

Lexington Green visit
Step onto this famous battlefield where the first shots of the Revolutionary War rang out in 1775. Learn about the tense clash that sparked the “shot heard ’round the world” while exploring historic grounds and memorials honoring fallen militiamen.
Old North Bridge photo stop
Visit this legendary reconstructed bridge, known as the first battle site of the American Revolution in 1775. Stand where "the shot heard 'round the world" was fired and capture photos of the scenic landscape where history changed forever.

Our easy-to-use tools put students in the driver's seat of their own fundraising efforts. Students can send e-cards, share links on social media, and even send out printed letters through WorldStrides' Gift of Education program. In one click friends and family members can make a direct donation to the trip - with 100% of the money raised going to offset their trip price. Thousands of students pay for their entire trip each year through the Gift of Education.
