Look up at the Eiffel Tower, built for the 1889 World’s Fair, and visit Les Invalides, Napoleon’s military refuge, along with other historic sites.
Louvre guided visit
The world’s largest art museum, the Louvre is housed in a medieval fortress-turned-palace so magnificent it’s worth a visit for the architecture alone. Enter through the glass pyramid designed by I.M. Pei and step into grand halls filled with carved ceilings, soaring windows, and centuries of art. See masterpieces like the "Mona Lisa," "Venus de Milo," and "Winged Victory," along with vast collections of Egyptian artifacts and Greek ceramics. Please note: the Louvre is closed on Tuesdays.

Day 4
Giverny guided excursion
Claude Monet discovered this quiet farming village when his train stopped nearby. Captivated by its beauty, he moved there in 1883 and spent 40 years transforming his pink stucco home into a masterpiece of gardens and light. Wander the flower-filled Clos Normand, cross the Japanese bridge, and see the water lilies that inspired his art. His studio remains just as he left it. Please note: Available for tours traveling April-November only.
Musée d’Orsay visit

Creperie dinner
Day 5
Fly to Florence
Day 6
Florence guided sightseeing tour
Discover Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. Admire the Duomo with Brunelleschi’s dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery’s famed Gates of Paradise that inspired generations of artists. Visit Palazzo Vecchio on Piazza della Signoria, once the seat of Florentine power, and step inside Dante’s House to learn about the poet’s legacy. At Santa Croce, see the tombs of Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli. Conclude your day by crossing the Ponte Vecchio and visiting a leather workshop to see one of Florence’s most famous crafts.

Day 7
Uffizi Gallery guided visit
Visit one of Italy’s most renowned museums, the Uffizi Gallery, originally built in 1560 as the administrative center of the Florentine state. Today it houses the world’s finest collection of Italian Renaissance art, including Botticelli’s “Birth of Venus,” da Vinci’s “Baptism of Christ,” and many other masterpieces.
LEAP Patron of the Renaissance
Imagine you’re a Medici. Suppose you’re a Sforza. Use this innovative activity to explore the motives of the patrons of the Renaissance.
Pisa guided excursion (optional)
Stop in Pisa to see the famous Leaning Tower, which began tilting when builders discovered the ground beneath was too soft. Attempts to straighten it only made the lean more pronounced. The tower is part of the Campo dei Miracoli, where the baptistery, duomo, and tower together exemplify Pisan Romanesque style, clad in intricately carved black-and-white marble that gleams in the sun.
Day 8
Travel to Rome
Ancient Rome guided sightseeing tour
Walk through Rome’s timeless icons with your guide: climb the Spanish Steps, toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain, marvel at the Pantheon’s dome, and linger in lively Piazza Navona. Then step inside the Colosseum to see its underground chambers before continuing to the Roman Forum, the center of ancient civic life.
Day 9
Vatican City guided sightseeing tour
Visit St. Peter’s Basilica, with its vast colonnades that seem to embrace the world. Inside, admire Michelangelo’s soaring dome, rising 452 feet above the ground, and his renowned Pietà. Then step into the Sistine Chapel, where the artist reluctantly painted frescoes that today stand among the world’s greatest masterpieces.
Rome city walk
Discover Rome’s iconic landmarks on a guided walk. At the Spanish Steps, see the “sinking ship” fountain, designed that way because of low water pressure that forced the artist to sink it below street level. Marvel at the Trevi Fountain’s Baroque grandeur, the Pantheon’s soaring dome, and Piazza Navona, where Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers anchors the bustling square.
Authentic trattoria dinner
Day 10
Return home
