Tim Sweeney oversees product delivery for all WorldStrides programs. Tim brings 30 years of travel operations and educational experience to his role. He worked as one of the principals of Boston-based student-travel company, NETC, for 14 years before the company was acquired by WorldStrides in 2012. Prior to this experience, Tim oversaw travel agency branch locations at the American Automobile Association (AAA). Tim is also a passionate traveler, originating with his high school ski trip to Switzerland and Italy many years ago. Tim is a strong believer that the world classroom experience develops lifelong global citizens and his family volunteers their time in Haiti every year assisting with community infrastructure projects.

Tim is a graduate of Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire and is an avid endurance cyclist, having completed some great New England rides such as the B2VT, the D2R2, and the Pan Mass Challenge. In the winter, you can find him skiing the White Mountains of New Hampshire with his family.
