FLAG Scholarship Helps 4,400 Travel With WorldStrides

It’s important to us at WorldStrides that every student has the opportunity to pet a dolphin in Florida, or discover what makes our government tick in Washington, D.C. That’s why we are so proud to say that our FLAG Scholarship was awarded to over 4,400 students in 2011. This means, to date, nearly 17,000 students have traveled worry-free thanks to this special fund.

The FLAG Scholarship is WorldStrides’ most popular scholarship, offering $1 million in travel assistance to thousands of families each year. It is supported by a grant from the FLAG Foundation and supplemented with funds from WorldStrides.

The fund for 2012-2013 school year is now open, and we encourage all those who qualify to apply for a FLAG Scholarship. Families with an annual adjusted gross income (AGI) of up to $85,000 are invited to complete an easy, confidential application. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information or to apply for student travel funding, please contact a WorldStrides Customer Service team at 1-800-468-5899. We are so pleased to have helped so many students get one step closer to participating in our life-changing travel programs!
