Overview
Everything’s bigger in Texas, including the halftime show at the Alamo Bowl. Bring your band to take the field at the Alamodome, which seats 72,000. Your musicians will also participate in the Battle of the Bands Field Show Competition and be part of the action at the River Walk Pep Rally. Celebrate your success in San Antonio with an awards ceremony, dinner, and line dancing at beautiful Pedrotti’s Ranch. Applications are now open for December 2025 through January 2026!

Day 1
Travel to San Antonio, TX

Day 2
Alamo Bowl Battle of the Bands
Strut your stuff at the Alamo Bowl Battle of the Bands marching competition and parade review this morning! This is a great opportunity to see what other marching band programs from around the country are doing. The winner of this field show competition will perform solo at the Alamo Bowl pre-game show!
Alamo Bowl Pep Rally
Join the Alamo Bowl fanfare right away as you perform for spectators along the legendary San Antonio River Walk at the official Alamo Bowl Pep Rally.
Day 3
Mass Rehearsal
Start your day with your first mass band rehearsal! Join students, directors, and top clinicians from across the U.S. as you prepare for the Alamo Bowl Halftime Show Finale.
Sightseeing
Spend your free time exploring the city!
Awards Ceremony and Dinner at Pedrotti's Ranch
Celebrate with your new friends at your exclusive Awards Ceremony. Your night includes dinner, awards, and of course, dancing!
Day 4
Final Rehearsal
It's time for the final halftime show dress rehearsal with everyone...marching bands, dancers, color guard, and more!
Alamo Bowl Kickoff
The winning performance group showcases their routine solo during the pre-game, while all groups come together to perform the halftime show finale.
Free Afternoon in San Antonio
Enjoy a free afternoon soaking in the excitement of the Valero Alamo Bowl festivities in San Antonio. Savor a delicious meal at iconic spots like Hard Rock Cafe or Casa Rio, both located along the picturesque River Walk.
