OrientationUpon arrival, we will have an orientation session with our International Studies Abroad staff about the week ahead.
Heredia HomestayOur home for the next six evenings will be with our homestay families in Heredia, where three meals will be provided daily.

Universidad Latina - HerediaBegin our summer program taught by host university faculty at the Universidad Latina - Heredia.
Visit the Poás Volcano National Park. Poás is an andesitic-basaltic strata-volcano 8,000ft high. It has the biggest geyser in the world and is impressively beautiful.

After a safety briefing, we will each get our own personal round raft and begin our tour and Rio Negro Tubing Adventure down the white water rapids in the Rio Negro.
