Then take a scenic drive along the coast to visit Africa's most south-westerly point where the cold Benguela current of the Atlantic Ocean and the warm Agulhas Current of the Indian Ocean merge. Fly to Johannesburg

Fly to Johannesburg and head to Soweto, a city developed as a township for black people under the apartheid system. Most of the struggle against apartheid was fought in and from Soweto. In Soweto, you'll also have the opportunity to visit the Mandela House and the Hector Pieterson Memorial.

The Lesedi Cultural Village takes you through South Africa's mix of unique native cultures with villages, dance performances, and a feast that includes food from around the country.
