Spend a summer studying at Anglo-American University, Prague’s oldest private English-speaking university. Choose from a wide range of courses across disciplines like business, communications, political science, humanities, and more. All classes are taught in English by international faculty, and you’ll learn alongside Czech and other international students.

We’ll help you make the most of your time abroad with immersive excursions and interactive activities throughout your program.
We’ll also host an in-depth orientation when you arrive to help you navigate the city, academic culture, and your new home – all included in your program. Explore Prague’s enchanting streets between classes and get to know Central Europe through trips to destinations like the storybook town of Český Krumlov and the powerful WWII-era site of Terezín, blending your academic journey with meaningful cultural discovery.
Study + Veritas
Experience study abroad with a purpose by combining your academics with ministry service, faith-centered learning, and mentorship through Veritas Christian Study Abroad. Enroll in a Veritas-specific course alongside your full-time classes, connect with a Veritas Mentor, and serve local communities through meaningful ministry work. Whether it's youth outreach, church involvement, or community support, you'll live your faith while exploring the world.

Anglo-American University
Anglo-American University (AAU) is the first private, English-language university in the Czech Republic. The modern campus is situated in the newly restored Thurn-Taxis Palace near Prague Castle serving as a beautiful backdrop for your time abroad. AAU blends Central European tradition with American and British academic values, offering an international learning environment in one of Europe’s most picturesque cities.
Take courses in English across a range of subjects including business administration, international relations, politics, humanities, and Czech studies.
Learn in small, seminar-style classes (average of 15 students) designed to encourage discussion and personalized attention from faculty.

Excursions and Activities

From guided city tours to hands-on activities and weekend getaways, each experience is intended to help you connect with your host community. You’ll have access to a detailed itinerary in the WorldStrides Connections app prior to your program.

Home Away from Home
After you've applied, you'll complete a housing questionnaire that will help us match your preferences with the available options. Housing assignments are on a first-come, first-served basis, so complete this form as soon as you're able! We strive to match your housing preferences as best we can, but requests cannot be guaranteed.
The options listed below are based on double-occupancy with another international student, unless otherwise noted. Single rooms may be available upon request for an additional fee. Meals and laundry service are not included unless otherwise specified. All utilities and internet are included, though you may be charged an additional fee should your consumption exceed the allotted monthly amount. A refundable security deposit may be required for some options.
