Live and learn in Athens, where lively street cafés and ancient ruins coexist in one of Europe’s most historically rich capitals. At The American College of Greece (ACG), you’ll join local and international students for a semester of coursework taught in English. Choose from a wide variety of subjects across the School of Arts & Sciences, the School of Fine & Performing Arts, School of Psychology & Human Development, and the School of Business. If you're looking for an additional challenge, eligible students can enroll in an ACG Honors Seminar for an elevated academic experience.

The American College of Greece
Founded in 1875 by women missionaries from Boston, The American College of Greece (ACG) is the oldest U.S.-accredited institution in Europe. Located on a scenic 64-acre campus in the leafy Aghia Paraskevi neighborhood of Athens, ACG offers a close-knit campus community with modern facilities, inspiring views of Mount Hymettus, and a strong tradition of liberal arts education—all just a metro ride away from the city center.

Excursions and Activities

You’ll have access to a detailed itinerary in the WorldStrides Connections app prior to your program.

Home Away from Home
After you've applied, you'll complete a housing questionnaire that will help us match your preferences with the available options. Housing assignments are on a first-come, first-served basis, so complete this form as soon as you're able! We strive to match your housing preferences as best we can, but requests cannot be guaranteed.
The options listed below are based on double-occupancy with another international student, unless otherwise noted. Single rooms and studio apartments may be available upon request for an additional fee. Meals and laundry service are not included unless otherwise specified. All utilities and internet are included, though you may be charged an additional fee should your consumption exceed the allotted monthly amount. A refundable security deposit may be required for some options.
