Your 24-hour Tour Director will meet you at the airport and remain with your group until your final airport departure. A private coach will transfer you to your hotel in Taipei City, Taiwan. Sun Moon Lake is in the foothills of Taiwan's Central Mountain Range, so it's surrounded by forested peaks and features foot trails. The lake’s name was inspired by the beauty of the area—the east side of the lake is round, like the sun, while the west side is long and narrow, like a crescent moon. The aboriginal Thao tribe lives around the lake and many tribe members are the proprietors of the local businesses.
