Enhance your students’ French language skills on a culturally immersive tour to the enchanting Cote d’Azur town of Antibes. In the mornings, students will sharpen their language skills with vocabulary and grammar lessons. In the afternoons, they’ll have real-world practice at markets and museums as they explore the nearby sparkling Mediterranean resort areas of Cannes, Nice, and Monaco. Students will broaden their horizons even further through homestays with local families.

Your 24-hour Tour Director will meet you at the airport and remain with your group until your final airport departure.

Participate in language classes to help enhance your cultural understanding and linguistic skills.
Cooking class
Participate in a hands-on cooking class and learn to prepare the Provençal specialty Le Pan Bagnat, starting with a visit to a local market to select fresh ingredients.
Learn to play Pétanque with local players
Learn to play pétanque with local players and experience one of France’s favorite pastimes. Try your hand at this game of boules, similar to bocce, as you mix and mingle with locals. The lesson, held in French with translation by your Tour Director if needed, lasts one to two hours and ends with a refreshing beverage to celebrate the match.

Cannes excursion
Cannes is a celebrated Mediterranean resort, best known for its world-famous film festival, but there’s much more to this glamorous town. The city features beautiful architecture, palm-lined boulevards, and some of the Riviera’s finest beaches. You will have free time to explore the area at your own pace.

Nice excursion
Nice, the capital of the Côte d’Azur, blends seaside beauty with rich history. Walk along the palm-lined Promenade des Anglais to observe daily life on the Riviera, explore the elegant Musée Masséna to learn about regional art and history, and hike up Castle Hill (Colline du Château) for panoramic views of the harbor and Baie des Anges.

Picasso Museum visit
Explore more than 3,000 works spanning 75 years of Picasso’s evolving style, along with pieces from his personal collection. The collection was acquired by France in lieu of inheritance taxes from Picasso’s estate.
Antibes scavenger hunt
Take part in an educational scavenger hunt through eight iconic sites in Antibes, exploring French culture through landmarks, symbols, and lively local markets.

Grasse excursion
Explore the Provençal town of Grasse, long recognized as the center of France’s perfume industry. Surrounded by fields of lavender, jasmine, and rose, Grasse offers insight into the science, history, and craftsmanship of fragrance. At the Musée International de la Parfumerie, students examine exhibits that trace perfume-making from ancient civilizations to modern production.

Monaco full-day excursion
Spend a full day exploring the Principality of Monaco, one of the world’s oldest monarchies and its most densely populated sovereign nation. Founded as a Greek settlement and ruled by the Grimaldi family since 1297, Monaco blends rich history with Mediterranean culture. Visit the iconic Casino de Monte-Carlo on a guided tour and learn about its role in global film and culture, then explore the dramatic cliffside Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, home to thousands of marine species and exhibits highlighting ocean science and exploration.

Return home
Optional Extension
Add a Provence & French Riviera Extension
Beginning on Day 7, continue your journey with an immersive extension through Provence and the French Riviera. Travel to Provence to explore historic sites including Les Baux-de-Provence, the Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard, and the city of Nîmes, where students visit the remarkably preserved amphitheater, Maison Carrée, and participate in fencing and calligraphy workshops. Cruise through the stunning Calanques before returning to Antibes for continued French language and culture classes, homestays, and excursions to Grasse and the Musée International de la Parfumerie. The extension also includes a full-day visit to Monaco, featuring guided visits to the Monte Carlo Casino and the Oceanographic Museum, before concluding with additional time in Antibes and a return flight home from Nice.

Our easy-to-use tools put students in the driver's seat of their own fundraising efforts. Students can send e-cards, share links on social media, and even send out printed letters through WorldStrides' Gift of Education program. In one click friends and family members can make a direct donation to the trip - with 100% of the money raised going to offset their trip price. Thousands of students pay for their entire trip each year through the Gift of Education.
