Universidade Católica Portuguesa
Founded in 1967, Universidade Católica Portuguesa is a private university with campuses across Portugal, known for its global outlook and welcoming, community-focused atmosphere. Also referred to as UCP or Católica, the Lisbon “Palma de Cima” campus gives you access to their Faculty of Human Sciences and the triple-accredited School of Business & Economics (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA), ensuring global recognition and excellence in teaching and research.
Take Portuguese language classes or courses taught in English across a variety of fields, including business, economics, international studies, human sciences, and more.
You’ll study alongside local and international students in classrooms located in the business and human sciences faculties.
Many of UCP’s courses incorporate the city as a “living lab,” with guided field trips and cultural events integrated into the curriculum.
You’ll have access to the campus amenities in the heart of the city, as well as the opportunity to join the “local buddy” initiative to help you settle into life in Lisbon at UCP.

After you've applied, you'll complete a housing questionnaire that will help us match your preferences with the available options. Housing assignments are on a first-come, first-served basis, so complete this form as soon as you're able! We strive to match your housing preferences as best we can, but requests cannot be guaranteed.
The options listed below are based on double-occupancy with another international student, unless otherwise noted. Single rooms may be available upon request for an additional fee. Meals and laundry service are not included unless otherwise specified. All utilities and internet are included, though you may be charged an additional fee should your consumption exceed the allotted monthly amount. A refundable security deposit may be required for some options.
