Spend your winter break sharpening your Spanish skills in the seaside city of Málaga. Designed for rapid language acquisition, this intensive program focuses on reading, writing, speaking, and listening—all taught in Spanish by faculty at the Universidad de Málaga’s Centro Internacional de Español. You’ll study alongside a diverse group of international students in a supportive, small-class environment.

Located just five minutes from the beach in the scenic El Palo neighborhood, the Universidad de Málaga (UMA) welcomes international students to its Centro Internacional de Español, where Spanish language and culture courses are offered in a relaxed, engaging environment. With over 75 years of experience teaching Spanish to foreign students, UMA provides an ideal setting to improve your language skills while soaking in the coastal lifestyle.

Home Away from Home
After you've applied, you'll complete a housing questionnaire that will help us match your preferences with the available options. Housing assignments are on a first-come, first-served basis, so complete this form as soon as you're able! We strive to match your housing preferences as best we can, but requests cannot be guaranteed.
The options listed below are based on double-occupancy with another international student, unless otherwise noted. Single rooms may be available upon request for an additional fee. Meals and laundry service are not included unless otherwise specified. All utilities and internet are included, though you may be charged an additional fee should your consumption exceed the allotted monthly amount. A refundable security deposit may be required for some options.
