Semester at Universidad de Granada

Set at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains, Granada offers the perfect balance of academic challenge and cultural immersion. Open to all language levels, you'll enroll in two Spanish language courses along with additional electives taught in English or Spanish across business, humanities, cultural studies, international relations, and more. All courses are taught by faculty at the Universidad de Granada’s Centro de Lenguas Modernas and are taken with international students.

Level up your Spanish language studies by enrolling in an early start program, which incorporates an intensive Spanish language course before the semester begins. For students with high-intermediate Spanish or above, you can take part in for-credit internship opportunities—at no additional cost—in fields such as education, and community service.

We’ll help you make the most of your time abroad with immersive excursions and interactive activities throughout your program. We’ll also host an in-depth orientation when you arrive to help you navigate the city, academic culture, and your new home – all included in your program. From flamenco shows and cooking classes to language exchanges and tours of the Alhambra, your semester in Granada blends classroom learning with authentic Andalusian culture.
