Valencia is a vibrant city known for its beaches, historic architecture, and futuristic museums. At the Florida State University Study Center, you can enroll in courses taught in English covering topics such as history, science with labs, and business, or you can elect to enhance your Spanish language skills with courses for all levels - from beginner to advanced. Courses are taught by university faculty in a supportive, small-campus environment alongside other WorldStrides and FSU students.

Florida State University’s Study Center in Valencia offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern innovation, housed in two beautifully restored buildings behind the Serrano Towers in the heart of the Old City. The campus integrates original Roman and Arabic walls with contemporary facilities, creating a one-of-a-kind learning environment that bridges past and present.
Choose from courses taught in English in subjects such as business and economics, social sciences, biological sciences, and cultural studies, or take Spanish language courses at any level to strengthen your fluency.

Home Away from Home
After you've applied, you'll complete a housing questionnaire that will help us match your preferences with the available options. Housing assignments are on a first-come, first-served basis, so complete this form as soon as you're able! We strive to match your housing preferences as best we can, but requests cannot be guaranteed.
The options listed below are based on double-occupancy with another international student, unless otherwise noted. Single rooms may be available upon request for an additional fee. Meals and laundry service are not included unless otherwise specified. All utilities and internet are included, though you may be charged an additional fee should your consumption exceed the allotted monthly amount. A refundable security deposit may be required for some options.
