First Year Abroad in London

The University of Roehampton is known for its commitment to making education accessible to all as one of the first higher education institutions to admit women. Situated in southwest London, the University of Roehampton is a U.S. university-style campus with easy access to the city and the outdoors. Nearby is Richmond Park, the largest of London's parks, and Wimbledon Common, the site of Wimbledon stadium.

On-Site Support

Students will receive weekly academic advising for the first six weeks of their program. In these sessions, our on-site team will monitor academic success and adjustment into a new learning environment, social integration, and help them navigate culture shock.

Engagement Opportunities

Choose from a variety of activities to build community and share all there is to do in London with your students. Options include visits to Camden Town, a show at The Globe Theatre, River Thames boat tour, a stroll through Borough Market, a tour of the Tower of London, and more.
