First Year Abroad in Athens

The American College of Greece (ACG) is the oldest and largest U.S. accredited university in Europe. ACG offers a central location for easy access to the city, and campus boasts a FIFA certified soccer field and an Olympic-sized pool. ACG offers a wide variety of classes, and students interested in pursuing business will find ACG to be an excellent choice.

On-Site Support

Students will receive weekly academic advising for the first six weeks of their program. In these sessions, our on-site team will monitor academic success and adjustment into a new learning environment, social integration, and help them navigate culture shock.

Engagement Opportunities 

Choose from a variety of activities to build community and share the beauty of Athens with your students. Options include a tour of the Acropolis site and museum, War Museum, Metropolis of Athens, a trip to Glyfada beach, and more.
