Three Countries, One Weekend

Check out how my friends and I managed to squeeze in three countries in one picture-perfect weekend in southern France!

Pebble Beach on the French Riviera

Having landed late in the day, we decided to begin our journey by relaxing and taking a dip in the Mediterranean Sea. With its crystal clear water and calming waves, it was the perfect start to our weekend getaway.

Beachfront Promenade in Menton

The following day, we hit the ground running with our first train stop in Menton, France. The beautiful views looked like something straight out of a painting. All along the beaches were kids and families basking in the sun.

Sometimes, it’s the wrong turns that end up taking you to the most beautiful hidden spots! My favorite hidden path we found was this narrow yellow walkway that leads straight to the famous orange Menton staircase.

Beauty really is all around—the Menton architecture was breathtaking and truly worth taking the time to visit and appreciate. The basilica that sits atop the staircase is rich with history and old beauty.

Luxury Yachts in Port Hercules, Monaco

Our second stop took us all the way to the luxurious streets of Monaco. Along the coast, I saw yachts and boats of all shapes and sizes that had me speechless.

We couldn't leave without stepping inside the famous Monaco Casino. Its timeless elegance was evident throughout, from the beautiful wall art to its shining jewels. Rumor has it that they’re adding an Uno table inside, so I might just have to come back!

Sunset Over Coastal Lagoon in Southern France

With two countries down and one to go, we decided to end our first day with dinner on the coast of Ventimiglia, Italy. Having arrived at sundown, we were able to witness the beautiful sunset on the beach before stopping for dinner.

Narrow Stone Street in Antibes Old Town, French Riviera

The next day, we continued our weekend adventure by exploring the town of Antibes! Its historical streets were one to beat, as they were filled with vibrant plants and beautiful rustic shutters.

We decided the best way to end our weekend trip was to pay a visit to the viral Antibes private cove, also known as Billionaires Bay. The phrase “good things take time” was on the mark with this beautiful, long coastal walk to the cove. Despite taking an hour, it was simply breathtaking and had views I will never forget.

Rocky Cove on the Costa Brava

And it sure did not disappoint, as it ended up being the perfect relaxation spot after such a busy weekend. We were able to wind down, swim, and enjoy the clear blue ocean as the sun began to set along the water!
