Meet your fellow Alamo Bowl directors at the Directors Reception this evening.
Day 2 :
Alamo Bowl Battle of the Bands
- Alamo Bowl Battle of the Bands:
Strut your stuff at the Alamo Bowl Battle of the Bands marching competition and parade review this morning! This is a great opportunity to see what other marching band programs from around the country are doing. The winner of this field show competition will perform solo at the Alamo Bowl pre-game show!
- Alamo Bowl Pep Rally:
Be part of the Alamo Bowl fanfare as you perform for passersby along the legendary San Antonio River Walk at the official Alamo Bowl Pep Rally.
- Optional Activity:
You have the evening free to take in the sights of San Antonio. Enjoy SeaWorld, Six Flags, or the San Antonio Zoo.
- Awards Ceremony:
Enjoy an exclusive dinner, dance, and awards ceremony at the Downtown Convention Center.
Day 3 :
Master Your Skills
- First Rehearsal:
Join students, Directors, and top clinicians from across the U.S. as you begin rehearsing for the Alamo Bowl Halftime Show Finale.
- Check out San Antonio:
Take time for sightseeing. Take a boat cruise on the River Walk, visit Ripleys Attractions, or relax at the Alamo IMAX Theatre.
Day 4 :
- Final Dress Rehearsal:
Final Halftime Show Dress Rehearsal with the entire show castmarching bands, dancers, cheerleaders, color guard, etc.!
- Be Part of the Festivities:
Enjoy a free as afternoon to take part in the Valero Alamo Bowl festivities in San Antonio and eat at Hard Rock Caf or Casa Rio along the River Walk.
- Alamo Bowl Kick-Off!:
The winning field show marching band performs their show solo at pre-game and everyone performs the halftime show finale!
Day 5 :
Enjoy San Antonio!
- San Antonio Exploration:
After a good nights rest, enjoy San Antonio a bit more before heading home!
