This combination of a service trip and leadership expedition offers amazing views of clear freshwater lakes, green mountains, vast highlands and an abundance of wildlife. As part of their leadership and service experience, high school students participate in construction and maintenance projects at the Lilongwe Wildlife Centre, and contribute to projects that benefit the community of Lake Malawi.  In addition, many educators work with our team to transform this service trip into a unique design-thinking experience that combines pre-trip interactions with our field study center in Malawi with the opportunity to develop and implement solutions for the local community around the very real-world challenges and issues the students have been exploring in class.
